Calling all companies: Convince your boss to charter a yacht

We all know that the charter market is booming. Yachting is having a moment, and more new clients want to get a taste of this yacht lifestyle through the favorite technique of try before you buy - yacht charter.

But charter isn't just for those wanting to get away from it all and relax on a personal vacation with family and friends. Corporate charters are also gaining momentum.

These have many benefits, from wanting to impress potential clients and buyers, incentivizing their staff with team-building events, launching new products, and executing important deals, to simply entertaining. There is a lot of value to be had from chartering for a specific corporate occasion.

A floating venue can give vast benefits to the company. Not only are there high-tech spec communications equipment onboard for those essential meetings but there are also multi-functional spaces which can be utilized giving flexibility for various uses. Spacious saloons can showcase products, while dining areas can wine and dine clients. The flexibility provides the ease and opportunity to build and nurture professional relationships in ultimate comfort and privacy.

When it comes to branding and promotion, yachts create the perfect stage. The exterior of a yacht can be wrapped in company logos and branded banners and flags can fly throughout the decks. These high-profile settings for companies are ideal for exposure. Companies can also cultivate their individual experience onboard with the vibe and atmosphere they want to create.

This June saw prime examples of this again being practiced at Cannes Lions, the world's biggest advertising festival and awards, a long-standing favorite corporate yacht charter event. It is where creative communications professionals get together for great networking opportunities. This year mainly saw tech company lineups and the usual media contenders, such as iHeartRadio, having chartered the 169-foot Dionea. The media agency focused on social media advice, VaynerX, chartered the 141 foot, Behike.

Gary Vaynerchuck's VaynerX teamed up with recruitment partner Hidden and the non-profit Creative Spirit to bring the Metaverse to this year's Cannes Lions. In recent years the event has seen an increased emphasis on digital innovation, tech, and media agencies such as VaynerX in place of traditional agencies.

Networking has to be the word of the decade, right? So, what better way to do so than through these events such as Cannes Lions and corporate yachting? It is the ideal way to get noticed as a company, to impress potential clients while hosting parties and organizing day cruises and other tailored events onboard.

Nothing says more unique than an unrivaled luxury venue that is memorable and innovative for a corporate event than a yacht charter.

If your company or boss is interested in this realm of yachting, I am always open to chatting about charter opportunities and how I can tailor solutions to your needs, so shoot me a note!
